7th July 2022, Jamyang Choling Institute Nunnery did inauguration celebrate of our new Abbot Geshe Tsering Nyarna la from Drepung Loseling Monastery (Narye Khamtsan)
On 14th and 29th March 2022, 26 nuns had the golden opportunity to receive ordination from His Holiness the Dalai Lama as their root Guru.
The Geshe degree is the highest level of training in the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism.
His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama, consecrated Jamyang Choling Institute's new assembly hall, in Gharoh Odder, Dharamsala on May 16, 2009.
