On the occasion of the auspicious day Lhabab Duchen ‘The Decent of the Heaven of Thirty-three’, due to the blessing of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, the all knowing Buddha of the 21st century, the great research seminar on Madhyamika (The Middle Way) philosophy was held at the Jamyang Choling Institute
Nunnery on 1st November 2026 with the presence of the abbot of the Nunnery, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tsering Nyarna and the teachers who have shown such great kindness to the nuns. Many thanks to all the Venerable nuns from the Abhidharma class who presented their papers, the nuns who moderated the sessions and to all the monastics who engaged with lively questions and discussions. There were a lot of meaningful exchanges. May the meaningful discussions today be a cloud of offerings pleasing to the victorious ones and a cause of happiness for all beings. I dedicate this merit as well as the merit of the discussion to all beings, as a cause for them to be benefited by benevolent spiritual teachers.
This day is considered to be very important because it is believed that the merit created by any virtuous actions performed are multiplied ten million times on this particular day of the year.
May the merits from the virtuous actions conducted today benefit all sentient beings.
