Lama Tsongkhapa (1357-1419) was an eminent teacher of Tibetan Buddhism whose activities led to the formation of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. This is the celebration of his parinirvana. It is celebrated on the 25th day of the 10th month in the Tibetan calendar.     

Lha Bab Duchen " The festival of the Descent from Heaven. On this day the Lord  Buddha descended from the heaven of thirty three gods on three golden gem decked ladders to the human realm. This day is considered to be very important because it is believed that any unctuous actions or negative actions performed are ten millions times greater on this particular day of the year."

In the celestial realm encircled by snow peaks, you are the source of all benefit and bliss. Tenzin Gyatso, Avalokiteśvara in person, may your lotus feet remain firm for a hundred aeons!🪷

During the sacred fourth month of the Tibetan lunar calendar, known as Saga Dawa the Month of Merits we organized a collective Kangyur reading and completed the entire 108 volumes of the Buddha's teachings to honor the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Buddha. This meaningful event helped accumulate merit, generate positive karma, and strengthen our spiritual community.
